 The Site - Lake

The master plan above shows the lake with the boat house on the eastern shore.

This 50 acre, 600m long x 18m deep Lake was excavated at the turn of the century in a project funded by Yorkshire Forward and partners. The Water Quality is good and the lake hosts a variety of fish species. The Trans Pennine and the River Dearne run West/east just 200 yards from the Boat House to the north of the site.
